Overview

Once the mansion of the Count of Jaruco and later Count of Santovenia, in 1867, the big house turned into a hotel, becoming the favorite in the city. More than one hundred years after its inauguration it reopened its doors with 27 rooms, ten of which with a five stars plus status and a customized service. The house has three floors, decorated with works and pieces of Cuban fine artists to recreate the 19th century colonial Cuba. Nearby points of interest are: El Templete, Square of Arms (Plaza de Armas), Real Fuerza Castle (Castillo de la Real Fuerza), Havana City Museum (Museo de la Ciudad de La Habana), Segundo Cabo Palace (Palacio del Segundo Cabo), National Museum of Natural History, La Mina restaurant, The House of Gold and Silver Works, Archeology Museum, Don Giovanni restaurant, Numismatic Museum, Car Museum, Arabs´ House, Al Medina restaurant, and The Drugstore-Museum Taquechel.
