Overview

Bordering a corner of the Havana Port Avenue, the Santander Hotel rises majestically, reminding within its motifs and decorations the beautiful naval district of Spain. In the highest part of the building, decking the facade, the shield of this city rises. In the ample colonnade, great lanterns hang, resemblances to the those used in vessels a long time ago. The Hotel is made up of three buildings (differentiated by different colors), two of them identified with numbers 356 and 358 on San Pedro Street and the third one with numbers 2 and 4 on Luz Street, being this building the main body of the hotel. The first building depicts an eclectic construction and the second a neoclassic architecture with a Roman pediment and Corinthian columns, both dating back to late 20th century.
